Accounting, Bookkeeping and Payroll Outsourcing

In shortPSP Consultancy runs the finance back office for businesses that would rather not: bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliation, payroll with statutory deductions and filings, and a monthly MIS. Books stay GST-ready and audit-ready, and tax and compliance questions are answered by the same team.

What we do

Bookkeeping

Day-to-day recording of sales, purchases, expenses and bank transactions, maintained in your accounting software and closed monthly.

Accounts payable and receivable

Vendor bill processing and payment scheduling, customer invoicing and collection follow-up, with ageing reports.

Bank and ledger reconciliation

Monthly reconciliation of bank, vendor, customer and GST ledgers, with exceptions listed and resolved.

Payroll processing

Salary computation, payslips, and the statutory side: provident fund, ESI, professional tax, TDS on salary and labour welfare fund where they apply.

MIS and management reporting

A monthly pack with profit and loss, balance sheet, cash position, budget versus actual and a short commentary.

Month-end and year-end close

Accruals, depreciation, provisions and the schedules your auditor will ask for, prepared on a fixed timetable.

Digital payments accounting

Correct treatment of payment-gateway and UPI merchant charges, settlements net of fees and the GST on those charges.

Frequently asked questions

What does accounting outsourcing include?

It typically covers bookkeeping, payables and receivables, reconciliations, payroll, month-end close and a monthly MIS. We agree the exact scope and the calendar in writing.

Can you work in our existing accounting software?

Yes. We work in the software you already use, and discuss changes only if something is clearly holding you back.

How does payroll outsourcing handle statutory compliance?

We compute salaries, deductions and employer contributions, prepare payslips and the statutory returns and challans, and keep a calendar of due dates. Recent changes such as the new provident fund wage ceiling are built into the payroll set-up.

Is our financial data safe?

We restrict access to named people, use your software's access controls, and handle personal data in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Details are in our privacy policy.

What if we want to bring accounting back in-house?

Your books stay in your software and you keep the data. We hand over the working papers and the calendar so a new team can take over without a gap.
